Luang Prabang // Laos Travel Photography

After some amazing adventures in the Philippines, I headed to Laos to meet up with my buddy and fellow destination wedding photographer Julian Wainwright. We shot this epic destination wedding in Luang Prabang, which can see here.

I love Laos and was excited to get back and explore some of the more remote northern regions that I didn’t get a chance to see 3 years ago. LP is a great base for exploring the north, and it’s nice to come back to the “comforts” of the city.  I spent my days in Luang Prabang meandering the riverbanks and streets, shopping at the night market, and eating by the river at sunset.

Here are a handful of my instagram pics. I mostly stayed at guesthouses near the river, but on our last few nights we stayed at The Aspara. It was a splurge but worth it. And weather or not you stay there, I highly recommend eating there at least once. It was one of my favorite meals in Laos.
