Nong Khiaw Viewpoints and Fun Local Party

This is my second post about the lovely little town of Nong Khaiw. Check out my first installation here, with info on places to stay and where to eat. 

I couldn’t get enough of this place, so my travel mate Trevor and I stayed for a bit longer than the typical traveler passing through. The sunrises and sunsets were just speculator, and it was fun to watch new travelers wander into town from the bus station each day.

So what is there to do in Nong Khaiw? Not a whole lot, but one thing you should definitely do is climb to the view point. Do it as early as possible, as it is hot and not an easy climb..
