After my stint in Railay, where I chilled out on one of the most unique beaches in the world, I decided to head to Pai Thailand, one of the most famous places on Thailand’s “Banana Pancake Trail.” It seemed silly that in my 3rd year visiting Thailand I still hadn’t been here. Pai is a bit touristy and filled with its fair share of hippie ex-pats, but it’s a great place to hang out and explore.
Erica Camille is a destination wedding photographer and travel blogger based in New York City, Koh Samui, and Phuket Thailand.
