I’m working on some photo/video projects with Jazz at the moment. Tomorrow, we are headed to the east rand to scope some film locations and get some footage.

We are in the process of securing our dream space, but we need to find some more funds, so the pressure is on. The space is amazing and would allow us to generate enough money to pay back our investors, buy equipment, and start saving money for the next KAC Hub.

On Saturday we are going to a champagne celebration of Obama’s Peace Prize as well as the 45th anniversary celebration of an organization called Democrats Abroad. It’s an amazing networking opportunity.

The other week, we went to a great event called the Garden Sessions. Pictures coming soon on my flickr. I’ve been playing the bass, singing, reconnecting to my musical side, and listening to the choir of birds in our backyard.

We make lentil soup and brownies a lot. And that’s life on the South Side of things.
