Two weeks until Johannesburg

We’re up to nearly 40 drafts of our business proposal, which has now taken us nearly 3 years to write.
But it’s been worth it. It’s not an easy to take to undertake without a business degree or a template to follow. As far as we know, there is no business quite like the Kinetic Arts Collective.
The key to writing a successful proposal for a social enterprise is simply finding a structure that make sense for your particular business. Try different structures. For example, when we first began we were separating and categorizing everything we did by what made money and what didn’t. In the end, we realized that our services were too inter-connected to separate, and thus they are all explained under one heading “what we do.”
For months I’ve been hustling to get this proposal completed, and now that the departure is almost here, I am, for the very first time, relaxing, despite that we have not yet completed it. And sure enough, just as I relax, the content comes, assistance from my business partners emerge, and wow, I actually enjoy working again.
