I met Andrea and Alice while I was guriella marketing my wedding photography services at the 2011 New York Pride Parade. Little did I know that they would not only become the most amazing clients EVER, they would become good friends also! Not only did they conveniently book their wedding in my neighborhood at the gorgeous, historical Old Stone House in Park Slope (ok, so it’s their neighborhood too!) they have gone above and beyond what we photographers would consider great clients and have entered the rare realm of perfect clients! It is easily visible to anyone who spends time around these two that they are madly in love and and it’s a delight to simply be in their presence. They are dearly cherished by their family and friends, many of whom were brought to tears during the ceremony, and it was honor to be able to be a part of their big day. It was especially meaningful to me because this was my first same-sex wedding since I started doing wedding photography. Every detail of their wedding was a reflection of their personalities, from the purple dresses and hand-made head pieces to DYI decorations made possible by family and friends, it was an incredible example of how beautiful simple weddings can be. Congratulations Andrea and Alice, here is to many happy years together, and I look forward to getting to know you both more!
