Judson Memorial Church Wedding

Don’t get me wrong, I love 30th floor penthouses and marble floors. But I also LOVE low-key, laid back weddings. Jesse and Sarah even took the train to their own wedding, because who needs a limo when you have the grimy familiar luxury of the New York City subway system? I love weddings that truly represent a couple. Jessi and Sarah decided on Judson Memorial Church near Washington Square Park to celebrate their queer wedding. Jesse is a program coordinator for the Center for International Conflict Resolution at Columbia University and Sarah is a therapist and visual artist. They met at “an embarrassingly pure, alcohol-free pumpkin carving party,” brought together by two mutual friends who “conspired to get them together.” Nothing says romance like sober pumpkins, right? Fast forward to pumpkin-carving season 2012, and Jesse and Sarah are now happily married cat-loving park slope wives. Congrats!
Beautiful pictures! And a beautiful couple!
Awesome work. Fun, quirky, artistic, and story-telling. What more could a couple ask for?
