Italian Korean Wedding at Liberty House

Updated February 7, 2020

The Liberty House in Jersey City is one of my favorite venues in the New York City area, so I’m always excited when I book a couple who’ve chosen it as their venue. Roxana and Jesse started their wedding day at the gorgeous Mondrian SoHo in Manhattan which provided amazing city views and served as an ideal location for getting ready and portrait shots.

Roxana has an Italian-Korean family background, so she incorporated some Korean wedding traditions including jujubes (Korean dates) and throwing chestnuts at the bride, who then has to catch them with her wedding dress.

Thank you to my second shooter Lena Shkoda, a few of her images are included in this post.
