Stylish 501 Union Wedding in Brooklyn

I love weddings I can walk to—there’s something so personal and grounding about starting the day just up the street. My first stop on Deb and Adam’s wedding day was Deb’s sister’s apartment in Park Slope, a short stroll from my place. I bounced between both of their getting ready spots, capturing the buzz and quiet anticipation.

Once dressed, we stepped out into the familiar streets of Park Slope for their first look—a beautiful pause in the day where everything else fades. After they had a few private moments to soak it all in, we made our way to 501 Union in Gowanus, one of my favorite venues for its moody lighting and incredible industrial-chic vibe.
