Global Fund for Children Gathers at the Kimberly Hotel in NYC

This March, we had the honor of photographing a beautiful evening hosted by Global Fund for Children at the elegant Kimberly Hotel in New York City. Dave, one of my lead associate photographers photographed this event that brought together supporters, partners, and changemakers dedicated to empowering grassroots organizations that uplift children and youth around the world.

The New York party formed part of GFC’s global 30-year campaign and was billed internally as the organization’s “most successful event ever,” raising more than $2 million for current and future grants. Featured remarks came from Maya Ajmera (GFC founder) and Luz Bonilla, director of Guatemalan partner organization Funiluz.

Since 1994, GFC has funneled over $79 million into 1,300 community-based organizations, reaching 11 million-plus children across 90 countries

Held in one of the Kimberly’s timeless rooftop spaces, the evening featured heartfelt speeches, inspiring conversations, and a strong sense of shared purpose. From warm welcomes and candid mingling to powerful moments on the mic, it was a joy to document the energy and commitment of this incredible community.
