Jewish Bengali Wedding | Yashreeka + Elika
multi-cultural wedding brooklyn
Updated: May 27, 2025
Here are some of my favorite frames from part one of Yashreeka and Elika’s vibrant, joy-filled celebration at one of my favorite Brooklyn venues, The Green Building. This wedding was a gorgeous fusion of cultures—Jewish, Bengali, queer, and deeply personal—and I feel so honored to have been part of it.
Planned beautifully by Phoebe of B’Burg Events, this celebration was full of meaningful rituals, bold colors, incredible music from DJ Tikka Masala, and an energy that filled the room from the moment the dancing started. A big shoutout to my amazing second shooter, Katia Repina, who helped capture the love from every angle.

Stay tuned for part two, and get ready for more dancing, more color, and even more love.
Here are some of my favorite photos from part one of two of Yashreeka and Elika’s Lesbian Jewish Bangali wedding at The Green Building in Brooklyn, New York. These photos are so amazing Erica! Incredible work as always. Really curious about who they are, what their background stories are…. Seem like such a fascinating, lively community of friends they have too…..
Aww yay! Thanks so much for all your hard work. Yashreeka and I will forever have these amazing photos to look back at and remember this amazing weekend 🙂
Thank you thank you thank you.
