I recently had the honor of photographing an inspiring event hosted by the Center for Independence of the Disabled, New York (CDNY) at the Perelman Performing Arts Center, located in the heart of Lower Manhattan near the World Trade Center.

This powerful evening combined community, advocacy, and celebration—complete with an open bar, moving performances, and impactful speeches to raise awareness and funds for CDNY’s vital mission. The atmosphere was both joyful and heartfelt, a true reflection of the organization’s commitment to advancing the rights and independence of New Yorkers with disabilities.

It was a privilege to document such a meaningful event in one of NYC’s most stunning new cultural venues.
