A five-star wedding in one of Thailand’s most cinematic settings

What’s more elegant than a five-star Ritz-Carlton wedding?
One that overlooks the Andaman Sea, dramatic limestone cliffs, and a sunset so iconic it belongs in a movie—literally.

I joined Helen and Frank for their intimate destination wedding at the secluded, ultra-luxurious Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Phulay Bay, Krabi, Thailand. Some of you might recognize the backdrop—The Hangover Part II was filmed here, and the very structure used for Helen and Frank’s ceremony was originally built for the movie. It was like shooting inside a dream.

This wedding was deeply personal, visually breathtaking, and one of those rare days where the environment feels just as emotionally rich as the people in it. Documenting it in a place I now consider a second home was the perfect full-circle moment. This was my second year splitting time between NYC and Thailand, and weddings like this remind me why I made the leap.
